Tim Brook turns the tables to take pole in Turtle Wax Trans Am
TRADIEPAD Wall Racing’s Tim Brook secured the first Turtle Wax Pole Position Award, edging early pacesetter Nathan Herne by 0.1629s in qualifying.
Herne was the pacesetter through today’s two practice sessions; however, it was Brook’s 1m 33.5568s, which achieved not only his first pole position in the category, but a $500 cheque courtesy of title sponsor Turtle Wax.

Herne in the Dream Racing Australia Team Valvoline Dodge Challenger set a 1m 33.7197s lap and will line-up second ahead of the new All American Driveline and Auto Parts Ford Mustang of Ben Grice, while category debutant Jason Bargwanna lines up alongside in his Chicane Tools example.
RESULTS: Turtle Wax Trans Am Series Round 5 Qualifying
Garry Rogers Motorsport teammate James Moffat is fifth alongside the Garage1 Mustang driven by Kyle Gurton.
Rounding out the 10 are Dylan Thomas, Edan Thornburrow, Zach Loscialpo and Aaron Tebb.
Tomorrow’s opening Turtle Wax Trans Am Series race is scheduled for 11:35am AEDT and will be live on Fox Sports 506.
