Leading Innovators MPI Extend Trans Am Partnership for 2025
After a well-received introduction midway through the 2024 season, the Max Papis Innovations (MPI) ‘Up on the Wheel’ Award will return for Trico Trans Am Series competitors in 2025.
MPI are at the forefront of motorsport technology, and are the global leaders in the design and manufacture of steering wheels used in a wide variety of motorsport categories from IndyCar to WRC and Trans Am.
The ’Up on the Wheel’ Award is handed out at each round to the driver who gains the most places and will recognise the season’s biggest mover following the final round of the series in Adelaide.
Drivers will again receive unique trophies featuring scaled-down MPI steering wheels, after the trophies proved a hit with competitors in the 2024 season, with a larger ‘Wheelman of the Year’ trophy presented to the season’s leading driver.
As part of the continued partnership, MPI branding will feature on every car throughout the Trans Am field.
