Just 24 points separate series leader Todd Hazelwood from closest rival James Moffat in the Drivers’ Standings with three races on the streets of Adelaide remaining. Jordan Boys is 59 points back in third, with 140 points on offer across the weekend.

James Golding, who swept the weekend in Bathurst and is just 13 points further behind Boys, will not contest the final round of the season due to a clash with his Supercars commitments.

The ever popular Ben Grice will make his comeback following back surgery, having missed the last two rounds of the season, while the Dream Racing Australia duo of Jackson Rice and Joshua Webster also return after sitting out the Bathurst weekend.

Four-time Trans Am race winner Tom Hayman also re-joins the field, after contesting the first two rounds of the season.

Brad Gartner will make his long-awaited category debut, having been a late withdrawal from the Bathurst weekend. Gartner will be one of two local South Australian heroes on the grid, alongside Hazelwood.

The Pro-Am title fight is also set to go down to the wire, John Holinger and Joshua Thomas trailing Webster by just 31 and 40 points respectively. Nathan Herne continues to lead the Young Gun honours by 35 points over Elliott Cleary.

The action kicks off with a sole practice session on Thursday at 10:40am local time, before a busy Friday consisting of Practice 2, Qualifying and Race 1. The Trico Trans Am Series will also race at 9:25am on Saturday and 11:50am on Sunday.

Fans can meet their favourite drivers at a category signing session at 1:00pm on Thursday, at the new Pub in the Park precinct.

All Trico Trans Am Series sessions from Friday to Sunday will be live on Fox Sports and Kayo, New Zealand viewers can catch the action on Sky Sports while international audiences can tune in via SuperView.
