Schedule Unveiled for First Ever Trans Am Tailem Bend Round

The exciting four-race format will return for the Trico Trans Am Series, when the field takes on Shell V-Power Motorsport Park for the first time from May 31-June 2.

The full weekend schedule can be found here.

With an extra race to fit in the schedule, it will again be a busy Friday for teams and drivers, further adding to the intrigue as the field comes to grips with the South Australian Circuit.

Practice 1 takes place at 9:05am local time, with Practice 2 just a couple of hours later at 11:50am – both sessions 20 minutes in length. It could be drastically different conditions for Qualifying however, which takes place late in the afternoon on Friday at 4:05pm.

The field partook in Friday qualifying at Phillip Island as well, where James Golding emerged with the Trico Pole Award.

Both Saturday and Sunday will see two races each, with TV details on 7plus and 7mate coverage to be announced in the coming weeks.

Symmons Plains Raceway hosted the first four-race weekend in 2024, where Jordan Boys took a Saturday sweep while Golding took out the two Sunday races and the round win.

Round four of the Trico Trans Am Series runs as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries, with the event utilising the 3.41km 12-turn West Circuit, from May 31-June 2.
