Brodie Kostecki Rejoins Trans Am Field in Third TFH Racing Car
Supercars Champion Brodie Kostecki will make his second appearance in the Trico Trans Am Series at The Bend Motorsport Park from May 31-June 2 for the fourth round of the season in a TFH Racing entry.
Kostecki joins an expanded TFH Racing line-up, linking up with Todd Hazelwood and Joshua Thomas. Hazelwood is currently fourth in the Drivers’ Standings, after taking three podium finishes across the first three rounds of the season.
While it will be the first time Kostecki has raced for TFH Racing in Trans Am it will not be his debut in the category, which came in 2022 at Queensland Raceway. In that weekend Kostecki quickly adapted to the cars – taking results of third, sixth and second – aboard his #66 Camaro.
The exciting addition to the field sees Kostecki join an increasing roster of superstar drivers in the Trico Trans Am Series. In addition to fellow TFH driver Hazelwood, the reigning Supercars Champion is joined by fellow series stars James Golding and Tim Slade, and reigning Trans Am winner James Moffat.
After three rounds Golding leads by 22 points over Moffat, with Jordan Boys just 3 points further back in third position. Elliot Barbour has been the leading privateer, sitting fifth in the points behind Hazelwood.
The Young Guns have regularly challenged the established names however, with Nash Morris taking a victory at Phillip Island Elliott Cleary earning three podium finishes.
Round four of the Trico Trans Am Series takes place at The Bend Motorsport Park from May 31-June 2 as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries. All the action will be live and free on the Seven Network.
