Ben Grice Returns in All American Drive Line Entry

Press Release – National Trans Am Series frontrunner Ben Grice will be back in the familiar colours of All American Driveline and Auto Parts when he takes on the National Trans Am Series starting at Sandown on February 9-11.

Grice has enjoyed support from the Queensland-based All American Drive Line and Auto Parts since he made his debut in the National Trans Am Series in 2021, the same season he transitioned from Dodge Challenger to his successful Ford Mustang.

Finding his home in National Trans Am, Grice has emerged as one of the leading drivers in the class although luck has not always been on his side. Scoring nine podiums, two pole positions and three fastest laps during the past two seasons against stiff competition, Grice is determined in 2024 to follow through on the potential.

Joining Grice on the grid this season include the likes of reigning National Trans Am Series title winner James Moffat and full-time Supercars drivers Todd Hazelwood, James Golding and Tim Slade.

Entering the season with a rejuvenated Ford Mustang, plus the support of All American Drive Line and Auto Parts has come at the right time for Grice as the National Trans Am Series returns to free-to-air television via coverage on Channel 7 through streaming service 7plus and digital channel 7mate.

Grice will get his National Trans Am Series campaign under way on home turf at Sandown as part of the Shannons SpeedSeries on February 9-11.

QUOTES
Ben Grice – #03 All American Drive Line and Auto Parts, Ford Mustang

“It’s great to be racing in National Trans Am again,” said Grice.

“It’s the perfect category for All American Drive Line and Auto Parts to be involved in due to its business of importing truck components from the US for Australian customers. Every year this category keeps on getting bigger, better and even more competitive, with this season not being any different.

“My Ford Mustang looks great, I’m super excited to get going and I can’t wait to get started at Sandown. I’m super fortunate to have the support from All American Drive Line and Auto Parts in addition to that of car owner John Holinger.

“There’s some fast youngsters racing and plenty of experienced professionals in the field, so if you’re fast in National Trans Am it’s impressive. I just need to get some good results and stay out of trouble, which will bring a better result at the end of the season.

“Pound-for-pound it’s the best V8 category in the country at the moment and there’s no place I’d rather be racing. Trans Ams are really good things, they give a jellyfish a horn! They sound and look good, they’re a bit fragile in some areas, which is an area I’ve probably got to focus a little on to keep myself contained.

“This is the premier category for these cars in Australia and now with a free-to-air TV deal on Seven, more fans will be able to watch the action Trans Am guarantees.

“This year I need to try and win some races in addition to staying out of trouble when we’re in a position to have a good result using what we’ve learnt from the last couple of seasons.

“We’re excited to get back into it.”
