Winton wonderland for Shannons SpeedSeries

Tickets for the new-look 2023 Hi-Tec Oils Race Winton round at Winton Motor Raceway are now on sale.

It can also be confirmed the fourth round of the Shannons SpeedSeries event will be supported by Hi-Tec Oils as event naming rights partner, with a sleek new event logo also revealed.

The Hi-Tec Oils Race Winton will feature a host of V8 racing, including Trans Am, S5000 Australian Drivers’ Championship, Kumho Tyres V8 Touring Cars Series, Gulf Western Oil Touring Car Masters, Precision National Sports Sedans and the Australian Formula Ford Series. The best drivers from around the country will also be on show with the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series part of the June long weekend round.

Tickets for the event can now be purchased from, along with the opportunity to secure various camping sites around the venue.

The event will also feature of host of off-track entertainment for fans of all ages, with plenty of activations, food trucks and kids’ entertainment throughout the weekend, along with special V8 themed events in the region.

More announcements confirming the various off-track entertainment will be made in the lead up to the event.

Australian Racing Group Chief Operating Officer, Liam Curkpatrick:

“We’re excited to be bringing the Shannons SpeedSeries to Winton Motor Raceway in June and celebrating the long weekend with an action-packed racing schedule,” Curkpatrick said.

“The line up for the Winton event is exceptional and provides the opportunity to see some of the best V8 racing in the country all in one place and across a number of categories.

“With the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series also joining the card at Winton, motorsport fans are in for a real treat whether they are spectating, camping or officiating.”

“It’s been a terrific start to the year for the Shannons SpeedSeries and we’re looking forward to hosting more events across the country throughout the year, including our return to Winton in June,” Smith said.

“The event will feature a great range of V8 racing which will showcase some amazing vehicles across the different V8 disciplines, along with a round of the always competitive Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series.

“We can’t wait to see a big crowd at Winton and encourage everyone to head to to secure their tickets and camping sites now.”

“We are thrilled to be hosting the Hi-Tec Oils Race Winton Event at Winton Motor Raceway this year,” Whyte said.

“We are hopeful of this being the first of many events for this series here at Winton. With on track camping and some off-track events as well, what a great way to spend a June long weekend.

“The categories on show will provide a very old-school action-packed race meeting atmosphere, with some of the best sounding and looking cars taking to the track. It will certainly be a V8 style festival to remember.
