TCR and Trans Am star in latest Supercheap Auto ad campaign
Titled ‘Country Club Chaos’, the latest high octane short film from Supercheap Auto features crazy stunts in performance cars, cameos and of course Shannons SpeedSeries personalities highlighting the top oil brands.
The main stars however are the Hyundai i30 N TCR and Trans Am Ford Mustang completing crazy stunts around the fictitious Redline Country Club. Filming took four days on the Gold Coast with thanks to TAXI Film Production and Chimera Project.
The story follows five cheeky valets racing, skidding, drifting and jumping around the golf course, while the unsuspecting owners led by former Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series driver Russell Ingall enjoy tea and scones.
Of course Valvoline Team GRM’s Aaron Cameron and Moutai/ZIP PAY privateer Luke King also make cameos in the film, while National Trans Am Series driver Nash Morris displays his skills behind the wheel of the Penrite Ford Mustang.
Castrol is featured on the Hyundai i30 N TCR after the oil brand synonymous with motorsport sponsored numerous entries during the inaugural season in 2019. A loyal supporter of Garry Rogers Motorsport, Valvoline is represented by a drift Nissan 370z.
Another sponsor within the series is Nulon through support of HMO Customer Racing last season and can be found on Ben Bargwanna’s Garry Rogers Motorsport Peugeot 308 TCR in 2023, with it being found on an off-road trophy truck during the video.
Leading the team of ‘unruly’ valets is Shannons SpeedSeries commentator Molly Taylor as noted revhead and sponsor of privateer Michael Clemente, international DJ Carl Cox provides the soundtrack to the entertaining video.
Previous Supercheap Auto TCR Australia winner Chaz Mostert is among many drivers to make a cameo including Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia powered by AWS Pro drivers Shane van Gisbergen and David Reynolds.
The film highlights Supercheap Auto’s best performing oils campaign.
