Cody Burcher snares maiden Turtle Wax Trans Am Series pole
Young gun Cody Burcher has achieved his maiden Turtle Wax Trans Am Series pole position after edging title leader Nathan Herne at Sandown.
Burcher driving the PBS Specialty Coatings Mustang set a time of 1m 11.659 as Herne finished just 0.0759s short of the benchmark in the Team Valvoline GRM Ford, with the top 12 entries covered by less than a second.
