Enjoying a consistent run this year compared to some bigger names in the category, Pappas has finished every race this season and will be at an advantage when the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series returns to action at Queensland Raceway in August.

Pappas is also the leading Morris contender in the title.

Morris runs three entries in the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series, with son Nash, Pappas and rookie Rowell taking in the series albeit the latter two were the only drivers to test their usual Ford Mustangs.

Rowell made his debut at AWC Race Tasmania after a distinguished career in speedway, but was involved in an incident during the final race.

He returned for Phillip Island, but missed Bathurst and at Sydney Motorsport Park he continued his constant improvement throughout the weekend as this year marks his first circuit racing season.

Running Turtle Wax Trans Am alongside Super2, the younger Morris has had an unlucky season so far due to a few failures to finish, but these have been equalled by top 10s at every round so far.

Expect the three Paul Morris prepared Turtle Wax Trans Am Series entries to set the pace when the category returns in August for its first trip to the Sunshine State on August 5-7.
