Cody Burcher reveals new livery ahead of ‘home round’
Orange-based Cody Burcher enters the third round of the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series with a striking new livery at Bathurst following on from PBS Special Coatings commitment to his campaign this season.
The ex-James Moffat Ford Mustang still retained the base red from when the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia star won the round in it at Sydney Motorsport Park, when Burcher scored his maiden podium at Phillip Island last month.
When the Mustang hits the track tomorrow it will carry a distinctive yellow, blue and black livery of which Burcher is thrilled by the result designed by SD Graphics with vinyl applied by Alpha Signs.
“We’ve done a completely new livery,” said Burcher.
“We would’ve liked to have it done earlier in the season, but unveiling it at our home event is not a bad scenario.
“I’m stoked with how the car has come out. It looks amazing if not better than I thought it would.
“It looks unreal and I think it’s really going to stand out on track.
“I love it!”
Burcher thanked PBS Special Coatings for its continued support in addition to continued association with PJL Engineering Mining Construction, Tyrepower Orange, Westlime and Auto One.
“PBS have been a massive support,” Burcher said.
“I can’t thank them enough for trusting in me and coming onboard to not only support, but believe in what we’re doing. They’ve been very loyal to us and we’re enjoying this journey together.”
