Turtle Wax Trans Am Series schedule revealed for Bathurst
In what will be its third trip to Mount Panorama, the schedule has been confirmed for the third round of this year’s Turtle Wax Trans Am Series supports the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour across the Easter long weekend on April 15-17.
The Turtle Wax Trans Am Series is in the midst of a tight title fight as Team Valvoline GRM’s Nathan Herne leads Wall Racing’s Tim Brook by seven-points, while comeback king Owen Kelly and young gun Kyle Gurton sit a further 27-points back heading to Bathurst.

The title chase resumes at Bathurst with two practice sessions on Friday, with the first at 8:15am followed by another at 3:40pm, while qualifying occurs at 3:40pm to complete a busy opening day for Turtle Wax Trans Am.
Two races follow on Saturday starting with the opener at 1:05pm, while the second event of the weekend is at 3:30pm just prior to qualifying for the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.
Round 3 concludes on Sunday as the final race commences at 9:20am in the lead up to the Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour.
It’s anticipated in excess of 30 entries will tackle the weekend marking the largest Turtle Wax Trans Am Series field in its short history.
More than 70-entries have been received for this year’s Hi-Tec Oils Bathurst 6 Hour in what is the ultimate production car event, which is joined by the third round of the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia and Turtle Wax Trans Am Series, the MRF Tyres Australian Pulsar Racing Association, NSW Historic Touring Cars and NSW HQ Holdens.
All of the action will be live, ad-break free and on demand exclusively on Stan Sport in Australia.
