Dream Racing Australia win Turtle Wax Best Presented Team Award
Leading Trans Am Series squad Dream Racing Australia has won the inaugural Turtle Wax Best Presented Team Award last weekend at AWC Race Tasmania.
Following on from Turtle Wax joining as naming rights sponsor ahead of last year’s penultimate round at Sydney Motorsport Park and its support of the Pole Position Award, this has extended in 2022 to a prize for the Best Presented Team.

The Turtle Wax Best Presented Team Award will be given out at each round, with reigning series winning operation Dream Racing Australia being the first at AWC Race Tasmania.
Led by Craig Scutella and team managed by Kim Jane, the team has expanded to four entries in 2022 after running up to three last year. Representing Dream Racing Australia this year are Scutella, AWC Race Tasmania polesitter Kyle Gurton, plus rookies Elliot Barbour and Jackson Rice.
The award criteria points are as follows:
- Car Presentation in terms of livery/aesthetic appeal, overall vehicle finish and decal placement.
- Crew Presentation regarding uniform and consistent appearance
- Garage Presentation judged on cleanliness, organisation and pit walling
- General team attitude, organisation and compliance.
In being awarded Best Presented Team, Dream Racing Australia received $500 and a Turtle Wax Product Pack.
Gurton enhanced his title credentials last weekend by scoring the Turtle Wax Pole Position Award and finishing third for the round.
The next round of the Turtle Wax Trans Am Series takes place at Phillip Island on March 18-20, forming part of the opening Shannons Motorsport Australia Championships event.
