New Sponsors and Team for Brett Holdsworth’s 2022 Trans Am Campaign
Brett Holdsworth has committed to a full tilt at the Turtle Wax National Trans Am series in 2022, with the backing of a new major sponsor and a move to Ashley Seward Motorsport.
Breeze, a chain of holiday parks across Australia, have come on board as part of an expanded sponsorship group for 2022. Breeze has 13 parks spread across the country, serving as ideal getaway spots in scenic locations.

“I’ve chosen to back Brett and his family, he is a proven front runner in the series and Turtle Wax Trans Am is garnering a lot of attention from many motorsport fans, including myself. It fits in really well with our business of enjoyment, adventure and thrills for our customer,” said Breeze Owner Frank Davies.
Accompanying Breeze on the car will be another new sponsor from SITE Traffic Engineering. The Queensland based company have previously been involved as sponsors in the Supercars Championship and the Aussie Racing Cars series. The company leads the industry as a one stop shop specialising in traffic engineering for the construction and infrastructure sectors throughout Queensland and New South Wales.
“I am pleased to be back involved in motor racing, which has many similarities with our business and the services we provide. Having known Brett for many years, I can’t wait to see him and his amazing looking car on track soon,” said SITE Managing Director Marko Misic.
PriPark and TPS Group will also return on board the #99 Chevrolet Camaro. Holdsworth is the CEO of both companies, which operate out of the Gold Coast in the parking sector.
“I’m so excited to be committed to the full season, the last two years haven’t been particularly fun with the chopping and changing of calendars, but I think that’s all past us now. It’s really cool to have the backing of Breeze and SITE Traffic Engineering for this year, they’re both fantastic companies and I can’t wait to work with and represent them,” said Holdsworth.
“Moving to Ashley Seward Motorsport was a big decision but I’m proud to be working with Ash and his crew. Obviously, my brother Lee raced in TCR for them last year and he was really impressed with how the team operated. It’s comforting knowing that I’ll have a reliable rocket prepared for me each time I turn up to the track.
“I had a lot of fun at Shaw Racing last year and can’t wait to get back to Tim’s home town in Launceston for the first round in a few weeks.
“I’ve got a couple of test days before we kick the season off, so I’ll acclimatise with the team and refamiliarize myself with the car, haven not driven it since May last year. Then we’ll hit the ground running at Round 1 and hopefully kick off a really strong year.”
Holdsworth will be in action for Round 1 at Race Tasmania on February 11-13 at Symmons Plains Raceway.
