Young gun Edan Thornburrow led Turtle Wax Trans Am Series debutant James Moffat in the GRM Ford Mustang featuring a tribute livery to father Allan’s all conquering 1969 example.

Rounding out the 10 were Moffat’s GRM teammate Jason Bargwanna in the Chicane Tools Ford Mustang, Kubota Racing’s Hugh McAllister, Dylan Thomas, Kyle Gurton and the new Team Tempest Solutions Chevrolet Camaro of Zach Loscialpo.

Herne continued this form in Practice 2 as he completed just half the session, but Brook closed the gap to be just 0.2883s behind by the conclusion.

Grice continued his strong pace in third, while Gurton led Bargwanna to complete the top five.

Moffat, Thomas, Thornburrow, McAlister and Loscialpo rounded out the first 10.
