Aaron Seton won the second National Trans Am Series race of the weekend at Mount Panorama after a battle with Nathan Herne.
The fight at the front through the opening sequence of corners was ferocious as the top three squabbled on Lap 1.

Herne got by Seton for the lead early on as the latter kept the pressure on and stayed tucked up under Herne’s rear wing.
It paid off for Seton when Herne made a mistake and slid wide at The Chase with a tank-slapper, giving up the lead.
Seton skipped by and set the fastest lap of the race as he opened up a three-second advantage before taking the win at the end of eight laps of racing.
While Herne was second, Owen Kelly came home third ahead of Tim Brook and Edan Thornburrow who completed the top five.
Ben Grice found the gravel on the final lap while trying to pass Andrew Fisher for seventh at the final corner, but slid sideways in the marbles and became beached.
Dylan Thomas had been running inside the top 10 but spun and clouted the wall at The Esses and fell to 13th, while Nash Morris suffered a puncture on Lap 3 and fell down the order.
Seton leads the championship standings by six points over Herne at the end of Race 2.
Race 3 is scheduled for 08:15 local time on Sunday.
